1. Who We Are

SmartEdge Pro is operated by SmartEdge LLC, based in South Carolina, USA.

2. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, and billing information.

When you use the platform, we collect content you create (posts, captions, media files), business configuration data (logo, branding, service descriptions), scheduling and queue data, invoice and payment records, and usage logs.

3. Google API Services and YouTube Data

SmartEdge Pro uses Google API Services, including the YouTube Data API, to allow operators to upload and schedule video content to their connected YouTube channels.

When you connect your Google or YouTube account, you authorize SmartEdge Pro to upload videos to your YouTube channel on your behalf, either immediately or at a scheduled time you specify. We access only the Google user data strictly necessary to perform this upload function. We do not read, download, or store the contents of your existing YouTube videos, your channel analytics, your subscribers, your comments, or any other account data beyond what is required to complete an upload you have initiated.

SmartEdge Pro’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements.

Sharing of Google User Data

SmartEdge Pro shares Google user data (including YouTube OAuth tokens and video content you upload) only with the following service providers, and only as strictly necessary to provide the YouTube upload functionality you explicitly activate:

• Emergent (application hosting): Hosts the SmartEdge Pro backend servers on Kubernetes-based infrastructure. Google user data passes through Emergent’s systems solely to execute the upload requests you have initiated.

• Supabase (database and authentication): Stores encrypted OAuth access and refresh tokens and user account data associated with your YouTube connection.

• MongoDB Atlas (application database): Stores application records including scheduling metadata and social media queue data related to your YouTube uploads.

• Google / YouTube: The destination platform where your authorized uploads are delivered, governed by Google’s own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

We do not share, sell, transfer, or disclose Google user data to any other third parties. We do not share Google user data with advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers, or AI/ML training services. Google user data is never transmitted to any AI, machine learning, image generation, or content generation service integrated with SmartEdge Pro.

AI/ML Training Disclosure

We do not use any Google user data, including YouTube account data, channel data, or video content, to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models. Google user data is used solely to provide the upload functionality you explicitly activate within SmartEdge Pro.

Revoking Access

You may revoke SmartEdge Pro’s access to your Google account at any time by visiting your Google Account permissions page (https://myaccount.google.com/permissions) and removing SmartEdge Pro, or by disconnecting your account from within SmartEdge Pro’s settings. Upon revocation, we delete associated access and refresh tokens within 7 days.

4. TikTok Data

SmartEdge Pro uses the TikTok Login Kit and Content Posting API to allow operators to connect their TikTok account, post videos directly to their profile, and save videos to their TikTok drafts.

We read only your TikTok open ID, display name, and avatar to confirm the connection. We do not access or store any other TikTok user data. You may disconnect your TikTok account at any time from within SmartEdge Pro’s settings.

SmartEdge Pro’s use of TikTok user data complies with the TikTok Developer Terms of Service and TikTok’s Platform Policies, including applicable data protection and limited use requirements.

• MongoDB Atlas (application database): Stores scheduling metadata related to your TikTok posts.

• TikTok: The destination platform where your authorized posts are delivered, governed by TikTok’s own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

We do not share, sell, transfer, or disclose TikTok user data to any other third parties. We do not share TikTok user data with advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers, or AI/ML training services. TikTok user data is processed in the United States.

Revoking TikTok Access

You may revoke SmartEdge Pro’s access to your TikTok account at any time from within SmartEdge Pro’s settings or by removing SmartEdge Pro from your TikTok account connections. Upon revocation, we delete associated access and refresh tokens within 7 days.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate and deliver the Service, process payments, send transactional emails and notifications, generate invoices on your behalf, and improve our services.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your personal information, your customers’ information, or third-party platform data (Google, YouTube, TikTok) to train AI or machine learning models.

6. Data Protection Mechanisms

We implement the following safeguards to protect your data and any sensitive third-party data (including Google, YouTube, and TikTok data) we access on your behalf:

Encryption in transit: All connections to SmartEdge Pro use HTTPS/TLS 1.2 or higher. All API calls to Google, YouTube, TikTok, Stripe, and other third-party services use encrypted HTTPS connections.

Encryption at rest: User data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) and MongoDB Atlas with encryption at rest. OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens are stored encrypted in our databases and are never exposed to the client browser.

Access controls: Access to production systems and databases is restricted to authorized SmartEdge personnel using multi-factor authentication. Row-level security policies in our database isolate each operator’s data so operators cannot access other operators’ records.

Secure secret management: API keys and OAuth client secrets are stored in environment variables and are not committed to source code or exposed in logs.

Minimum scope principle: We request only the OAuth scopes strictly necessary to deliver the features you use. We do not request broader permissions “just in case.”

Token revocation: When you disconnect a third-party account, we delete the associated access and refresh tokens from our systems within 7 days.

Breach response: In the event of a data breach affecting your information, we will notify affected users by email within 72 hours of discovery and will cooperate with any applicable regulatory requirements.

7. Data Storage and Processing

User data is stored using Supabase (PostgreSQL) and MongoDB Atlas. Application hosting is provided by Emergent (Kubernetes-based infrastructure). Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. and is subject to Stripe’s privacy policy. Transactional email is sent via Resend.

8. Third-Party Services

SmartEdge Pro integrates with the following third-party services, each operating under its own privacy policy. Not all services receive all categories of data — Google user data is only shared with the services listed in Section 3.

Infrastructure and data storage:

• Emergent (application hosting on Kubernetes)

• Supabase (database, authentication, file storage)

• MongoDB Atlas (application database)

Communication and publishing:

• Google / YouTube (video publishing and account connection)

• TikTok (video publishing and account connection)

• Resend (transactional email)

• Twilio (optional SMS notifications for operators who enable this feature)

Payments:

• Stripe (payment processing and multi-tenant payouts)

AI assistant and content generation (these services do not receive Google user data or YouTube data):

• OpenRouter (routes AI assistant chat requests)

• Perplexity AI (web-search-enabled AI assistant for paid users, accessed via OpenRouter)

• OpenAI (AI-generated marketing content)

• Higgsfield AI (AI-generated marketing video content)

• OpenClaw (custom AI gateway for the paid-tier in-app assistant)

9. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data by contacting contact@smartedgeproai.com. Upon account deletion or subscription cancellation, your data is removed from our active systems within 30 days. OAuth tokens for disconnected third-party accounts are deleted within 7 days.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact contact@smartedgeproai.com. We will respond within 30 days.

11. Children’s Privacy

SmartEdge Pro is not intended for use by individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

12. International Users

SmartEdge Pro is operated from the United States. By using the Service, you consent to your data being processed in the United States.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
